Osteopathic Medical Education
Programs & Resources

The Foundation serves the osteopathic medical profession in a number of ways.  But its enduring legacy of supporting osteopathic medical education in the Northwest remains a primary focus.  From its Scholarship Program that is the number one grantmaker of scholarships in the nation, to its Clinical Rotations Program that helps ensure osteopathic medical care for a wide range of demographics, from urban clinics to rural populations - the Foundation’s medical education programs strive to foster growth within the profession.  Financial resources for Continuing Medical Education and Graduate Medical Education programs comprise an additional focus for the Foundation, as well as grants made to osteopathic medical organizations.  All of these programs are generously supported by the personal donations of the osteopathic medical community throughout our region.

New Resource for Prospective Students from AACOM:
AACOM recently launched Osteopathic Medical Student Profiles: In their Own Words: A Snapshot of the Osteopathic Medical Student,” a student recruitment web page that features the experiences of students at each of the nation’s colleges of osteopathic medicine.   With each student profile, we include a link to the student’s college of osteopathic medicine web site, so that prospective applicants can learn more about that medical college and its academic programs.  Visitors also can click on links to our Recruitment Calendar and to order/view the 2010 College Information Book.
